John F. Ittenbach Member of Ittenbach, Johnson, Trettin & Koeller, Attorneys at Law. Mr. Ittenbach is and has been a practicing attorney for over 34 years. He began his legal career as a law clerk on the Indiana Court of Appeals for the Honorable Robert H. Staton in 1970-1973; He graduated in the top 5% of his Law School Class, Magna Cum Laude. He served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Marion County from 1973 to 1976 and successfully tried over 80 Jury trials; He was a Public Defender in the Marion County Criminal Courts until 1978 when he began to devote his practice to civil litigation. He has tried over 150 Jury trials. His current practice is concentrated in General Corporate law, including Not-For Profit Corporations. He also handles Medical Licensing cases, insurance cases; motor carrier cases; and general corporate litigation. Mr. Ittenbach heads the litigation section of the group. He has been involved in all types of complex commercial litigation from enforcing non-competes to defending EEOC complaints. Mr. Ittenbach has also developed a niche area of practice in medical licensing. He has represented Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, and other medical practitioners from the initial "Peer Review" to Judicial Review and has successfully challenged the "Peer Review" privilege rules in the Indiana Courts. He is admitted to the Indiana State Bar, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Ittenbach is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. .
